Descrizione: The goal of the thesis is to design and implement a gaming system, based on low cost electronic components, in order to support development of spatial and motorial skills for children and other special users. The idea is to build smart blocks that the user can manipulate in order. The system must be able to recognize the situation in real time and provide assessment of the user operations and coaching feedback. The developed modules may be integrated in a wider architecture for education and gaming in the context of the Internet of Things.
The thesis involves implementing the smart blocks by assembling existing hardware components and developing artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms in order to recognize the current Internet of Things context and take the corresponding actions in order to improve the user behavior.
